It was an ordinary day in 1993 - Chicagoans around town sat watching their TVs, tuned into Michael Jordan and the Bulls or the Bozo Show on WGN - when something incredible happened. The first ever airing of the Eagleman Insurance commercial. The bizarre yet hilarious ad featured a man dressed in an eagle costume, two uninsured drivers and one dented automobile. Soon after, the commercial became iconic in the Chicagoland area and aired thousands of times over several years. It even got a sequel a few years later starring the one and only Mancow. If you grew up in the 90s, there’s no doubt you remember the Eagleman’s famous catchphrase, “I’ve Got Something For Youuuu.”
This shirt pays homage to Eagleman himself - a being that can defy science and logic by flying around Chicago and laying eggs filled with low insurance rates!
